In 2008, he founded Brian A. Smith Law Firm, LLC to focus on serving the public. He has represented clients in criminal and traffic cases, appeals, bankruptcy, family law, and civil litigation. He has represented CDL drivers throughout Ohio, working tirelessly to resolve their legal issues and keep them on the road. He also has extensive experience litigating cases on appeal throughout Ohio, and has represented clients before the Ohio Supreme Court. 

Brian A. Smith is a Northeast Ohio native, a summa cum laude graduate of The University of Akron, and of the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. He is also a member of the Akron Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and dog Cooper, reading, playing chess, and Civil War history, and is a long-suffering but loyal Cleveland sports fan.
